Non-Profit Organizations

While there are often numerous financial, tax and structural benefits to non-profit organizations and tax-exempt entities, there are also many unique issues on which to focus, such as relation to regulation, compliance and public scrutiny. These entities benefit from partnering with experts with a full grasp of all the issues at stake. Tadmor Levy & Co. is your partner.

We represent a wide range of non-profits, including some of the largest in Israel, and regularly advise local and international charities, educational and welfare institutions, children with special needs organizations, social services organizations and others.

Our Non-Profit practice comprises lawyers supporting non-profits from the outset – laying out the most suitable incorporation options and organizational structure, and advising on application for (and maintenance of) relevant non-profit status, employment, financing, fundraising and litigation, as well as regulation, governance and compliance with any representation before the relevant authorities and ministries.

Recent highlights include the representation of Israel’s largest educational book and content producer, the country’s largest non-profit educational company, in the negotiation of commercial transactions, preparation and management of public tenders, management of dispute resolution processes, and representation before regulatory authorities and government entities, including the Israeli Ministry of Education. We also advise Israel’s major soldiers’ wellbeing organization (one of Israel’s largest non-profit associations), on commercial transactions, public tenders and real estate transactions, as well as the merger with its wholly-owned subsidiary.
