The U.S government has announced that it will pay monetary grants to U.S citizens, of up to $1200 per adult and up to $500 per child (under 17). U.S citizens living in Israel are also eligible.
Tadmor Levy's Head of Tax, Boaz Feinberg, spoke to Calcalist, explaining that "the U.S grants are not taxable income in Israel, since they are not business income, but rather a gift granted by the U.S government".
