"It is not an immigration issue, it’s a humanitarian issue", said Dr. David E. Tadmor, Co-chairman and Managing Partner, in advance of Tadmor Levy's pro bono petition before the Israeli Supreme Court on January 28th, 2020.
In an interview with jewishcurrents.org reviewing the status of immigrant workers and their children in Israel, Tadmor noted that there are only 600 school-age children of undocumented workers to whom this discussion applies. He added that considering its history and the history of its people, Israel should be conscious of the suffering of others, and must allow children, born and raised in Israel and completely immersed in Israeli society, who have done no wrong, to remain in Israel until they turn 18.
Tadmor Levy & Co. represents children of labor immigrants and their families on a pro bono basis, fighting against unlawful efforts to deport them from Israel.
