Restoring Contaminated Soil: Solution for the Housing Shortage

There are two important factors to consider when trying to turn financial investment in contaminated land restoration into a logical investment.

The Ministry for Environmental Protection estimates that there are 23,100 sites of contaminated land in Israel, across approximately 4000 acres of land; land suspected of being contaminated through various industrial activities. This information was published in a recent report by the Ministry on the estimated cost to the taxpayer for the review and treatment of contaminated land.
