Our firm represented a leading Israeli government-owned defense technology company in its defense against petitions filed by various employees seeking to prevent their dismissal, on the ground that the company’s right to issue such dismissals was established in the provisions of its binding collective agreements, which deal with the permitted number of agreed-upon dismissals. The Labor Court accepted our claims regarding the superiority of the collective agreements and concerning our client’s administrative prerogative to issue these dismissals. The Labor Court also accepted that there were no procedural defects in the dismissal proceedings. Once our client’s claims were heard by the court, all of the petitions for injunctions were rejected or stricken by the Labor Court’s recommendation.
