Israeli labor law is characterized by dynamism and innovation in legislation and in case law. These changes have direct effects on the ongoing conduct of various entities within the economy. The Law for Increased Enforcement of Labor Laws, 5772-2011 (the “Law”) has instigated a revolution in the field of contractual relationships between business entities and cleaning, security and catering service providers. The Law also imposed civil and criminal liability on those who receive services in these fields, for any violation of the labor laws that are committed vis-à-vis the employees of the service providers. Upon the enactment of the Law, our firm carried out a sample-based analysis of the employment conditions of our clients, for the purpose of examining their compliance with the statutory provisions. Once collective agreements were signed, we accompanied the process of adjusting the contracts with the service providers in order for them to reflect the provisions in the relevant collective agreements.
