Our firm was chosen to provide assistance in rewriting the constitution of the largest workers’ union in Israel, in order for it to reflect decisions made by organs of the union, as well as legislative and case law innovations. The constitution is a general collective agreement in which the terms of employment for all workers of the union are established, as well as work procedures, disciplinary rules that apply to them and more. The constitution was first enacted in the 1950’s and has been updated from time to time. It’s provisions apply, either in whole or in part, to the entities that have adopted the provisions pursuant to collective agreements. Currently, the draft of the renewed constitution is undergoing final examination and approval procedures.
