Our firm represents one of Israel’s largest construction companies in criminal proceedings pertaining to allegations that the company was a party to a cartel. In an attempt to enhance security of citizens living in the vicinity of the Gaza Strip, the State of Israel attempted to launch a project that would result in houses and apartment buildings being better protected against bomb-shells. Fourteen of Israel’s largest construction companies attempted to participate in the project, and were to receive a share of the works. Allegedly, these fourteen companies mutually coordinated to abstain from submitting bid proposals, following the rise of iron prices. We represent one of the companies, as well as its CEO, in the criminal proceedings following their indictment.
