Ira consults Israeli and foreign clients on the regulation of financial services, namely the regulation of fintech companies and e-commerce. She is also experienced in international dispute settlement, with a particular emphasis on international law of foreign investment, international trade, and international arbitration.

Ira is engaged in pro bono work with the Israeli Bar Association and participates in the Shiur Acher (A Different Lesson) program. Additionally, Ira is a mentor of legal teams in the TradeLab legal clinic, where she consults governments on legal questions concerning bilateral investment treaties. As part of her pro bono practice, Ira also consults the Israeli Ministry of Justice on dispute settlement mechanisms involving technology.

Ira holds a PhD from University College London (UCL), where she also worked as a guest lecturer. Ira currently serves as Chairperson of the Board of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Law at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
