Irit advises domestic and multinational companies in various areas of antitrust and competition law, including complex mergers, joint ventures, restrictive trade practices, and matters relating to abuse of dominant position. Irit also provides competition law advice regarding ongoing matters and ventures of major companies in regulated industries, with particular focus on payment systems, financial institutions, insurance, and healthcare. Irit also advises clients on implementing antitrust compliance programs.
Irit represents major local and international firms in proceedings before the Israel Competition Authority, as well as complex litigation cases before the Antitrust Tribunal and civil courts. Irit also advises and assists major local and multinational companies in a wide range of industries on regulatory matters.
Earlier in her legal career, Irit clerked for Hon. Justice Yoram Danziger of the Supreme Court of Israel and interned in the Litigation department of S. Horowitz & Co.
Irit holds an LLM degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was awarded the Gruss-Lipper Fellowship and served as a research assistant in economic analysis of the law and contract law. During her undergraduate studies, Irit served as an editor of the Tel Aviv University Law Review ("Iyunei Mishpat") and as a research assistant in economic analysis of the law, tort law and civil procedure.
Irit is fluent in both Hebrew and English, and speaks conversational Russian.
