Yotam Leshem joined the firm in May 2017 as a partner in the Project Finance, Energy and Infrastructure Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Yotam was a partner in the Project Finance, Energy and Infrastructure Department of Levy Meidan & Co. and has more than 7 years’ experience in the projects and infrastructure industry.
Yotam is an expert in PPP and project financing structures. He focuses on advising issuers of tenders, financiers, project companies and EPC & O&M contractors across multiple industries, including transportation, defense, infrastructure, water desalination and conventional, co-generation and renewable energy.
Yotam’s experience includes acting as an advisor to various Israeli government agencies concerning, inter alia, the preparation of pre-qualification documents, tender documents and concession agreements for the financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a new light rail line in Jerusalem, a municipal solid waste treatment facility and an ammonia treatment facility; representing finance providers, inter alia, in the provision of financing for a partnership which purchased a share in the “Tamar” natural gas field, in the provision of financing for two projects for the design, construction and maintenance of government office buildings; in the provision of financing for an over 400 megawatt conventional power plant in the south of Israel; in the provision of mezzanine financing for two co-generation power plants in the northern part of Israel; in the provision of financing for a thermos solar power plant in Ashalim and in the provision of financing of numerous photo voltaic power plants.
In addition, Yotam has a vast experience in representing EPC and O&M contractors, mainly in the field of renewable energy.
Yotam has also provided representation to several private consumers in their negotiations to purchase electricity from a private electricity provider.
